Makeup in a Hurry

Makeup in a Hurry - thumbnail-4.jpg

Are you ever in a hurry to get your makeup on? In this video, I demo’d which products I use when I'm in a rush and how I apply them.

Most videos on YouTube that are about "makeup in a hurry" are done by women who are well under 35 years old, and most are in their 20s. Their products and makeup methods don't work for me.

This is "makeup in a hurry for women over 50"! Mature women need certain products more than others and certain makeup application methods, too.

I start with the Pixi Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach under my eyes to hide the darkness and the tear troughs! I use the Sonia Kashuk Concealer Brush to apply it.

When I’m in a rush, using a BB cream instead of a foundation saves me time. I like the L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in "Fair".

I dot on the BB cream, spread it with my fingers, and then use the E.L.F. Powder Brush ("stipple brush") to blend.

When I’m in a hurry, I’ll use an easy pressed powder to set my makeup at this point. I like the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in "Creamy Natural" #011. I’ll use the big, fluffy Real Techniques Powder Brush to apply it.

Next, I can’t go wrong for blush with the Clinique Cheek Pop in "Nude Pop".

I’m one of those women who can make a mess when applying eyeliner. My go-to when I don’t want to make a mistake is the Lancome Le Crayon Khol in either “Black Coffee” or “Black Ebony”.

These days I can’t get away from doing my brows. I’ll use the Anastasia Brow Wiz in “Taupe” for some quick color.

If I don’t want to deal with an eyeshadow that has a lot of fallout, I’ll reach for a small palette that has little-to-no fallout, like this Physician's Formula Matte Collection Quad eyeshadow in “Canyon Classics”. It’s hard to make a mistake with this one!

With a blending brush, this eyeshadow blends quite nicely.

If you’ve been watching my videos for a while, you know that the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara for my upper lashes and the Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara for my lower lashes are my best choices for getting long, thick lashes without ending up with mascara in other places!

Last, I’m applying L'Oreal Color Riche Lipcolour in “Julianne's Nude”. Such a great color!
