I’ve been using the NowMi-Pro sonic facial device for weeks and finally get to tell you more about it!

The Now-Mi Pro device is used for both daily cleansing and a weekly vitamin C facial! This is one of the characteristics that makes it different from other silicone facial devices on the market. It has two sides - one for daily cleansing (shown on the left) and the other for a weekly facial (shown on the right). (Now-Mi is pronounced “Now”-”Me”, BTW!)

The NowMi-Pro device comes with its own charging cord. You open a watertight port on the device, plug in one end of the cord there, and then plug the other end into any USB port on another device, such as your computer that is already charging.

I plug it in about once a month and let it sit for a couple hours. It holds the charge in the device really well. I’ve never experienced it running out of power.

I like that the port on the back of the device closes up watertight! You can use this in the shower!

The facial cleansing gel provided in the kit includes Dead Sea minerals as well as vitamins E, B3, & B5. It has a very faint scent.

You apply a bit of the facial cleanser to the silicone bristle area of the device. I like to spread the cleanser around the entire area of bristles!

When I’m ready to start cleansing my face, I press the “On/Off” button, which I’m pointing to here. It is embossed on the device just below the bristles.

I splash some water on my face and then start using the device. I massage my skin with it for about 2 minutes.

The tiny silicone bristles act like an exfoliator for my skin! I’ve never tried any of the facial brushes that are on the market because, at this point at the age of 60, I think brushes on my face are too harsh.

This silicone version is perfect for any age, really. It’s gentle on my skin and yet, after using it, I don’t need an exfoliating product!

Once a week, and usually at night following cleansing my face, I use the vitamin C tablets for the weekly facial, using the other side of the device. The vitamin C tablet comes individually wrapped in these turquoise packets. The kit comes with six tablets.

I nearly decided to crop myself out of the photo! Anyhow… the white vitamin C tablet is placed on the back of the device in the circle. It snaps right in.

The lubricant gel, also included in the kit, has vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. Besides squeezing a dollop of the gel onto the tablet, I also put the lubricant gel all over my face! (That part isn’t in their instructions. I just found it worked better and glided better if I also applied the gel to my face.)

I turn it on and massage my face with the vitamin C tablet for 3 to 5 minutes. Afterward I rinse all of the gel off my face and apply my skincare products as I normally do after cleansing.

The NowMi-Pro device sends out 6,000 sonic pulsations per minute which helps to enhance the infusion of the active ingredients into your skin.

When you use the vitamin C tablet + gel on your skin, the interaction between the gel and the tablet creates an effervescent effect and makes millions of micro CO2 bubbles, giving you an oxygen facial. This effect is further enhanced by the sonic energy which degases the CO2 micro bubbles.

Your skin will get a little bit red from the weekly facial, but that goes away quickly. On filming day, I performed the facial in the morning, finished my skincare product application, did my makeup, and my skin isn’t red or pink anymore. (The pink color you see is the blush I applied!)
