Starting with Thanksgiving and fall parties, if you’re going to use paper plates and napkins, this set is great for the season in pretty fall colors. It comes with 16 beverage napkins, 16 luncheon napkins, 8 dinner plates, & 8 dessert plates.

This cream color flatware will go well with the fall plates and napkins. (It will also go well with the Christmas plates I’ve selected!)

Beware when you purchase plastic cups online! Many of them look like 16 ounce cups but they’re really 10 or 12 ounce. These green cups are 16 ounces and they coordinate with the plates and napkins.

Whether you use a tablecloth or not, this jacquard table runner is a nice addition to a Thanksgiving table. It can also be used across a buffet table.

This white embossed turkey platter will coordinate well with most other servingware pieces you already have.

Stemless wine glasses are “in” and this set got good reviews for holding up well (some others that I skipped have broken while being hand washes!).

If you like traditional stemware and you’re looking to add some glassware to your collection for parties, this one is a nice size and shape.

If you’ve ever been to a party where people are mostly standing, holding plate of appetizers in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, you know that you can’t eat when both hands are full. These cut-out plates solve that problem. You can place the stemware glass in the cut-out and have a free hand to eat!

These beautiful flameless candles are great for the entire autumn season!

Festive hand towels for the Thanksgiving season are a fun way to spruce up your home when you have guests. They also make for a great hostess gift.

To save space, buy pillow covers, such as these for fall, and then purchase the pillow form for the interior separately. After the season, the covers can be stored easily.

Many people have rooms in their home with blue, green, or both (but not orange). This set of four pillow covers allows you to pull in the fall theme while coordinating with your blues & greens.

Here are the pillow forms to fill the pillow covers! The covers I’m including in this post are all 18 inches X 18 inches square. When you click the shop these pillow forms, you have a choice of sizes for your set of four. Many people recommend purchasing the pillow forms in the 20 inch X 20 inch size to fill the 18 inch pillow covers because you will get a result that is a fuller looking pillow.

The holly print is classic. These paper dinner plates are great if you’re going to use paper and you’re looking for something which brings in the red and green, along with a gold rim.

To go with the plates, this is the coordinating dinner napkin!

To pull on the classic theme, this small paper napkin can be used as a beverage napkin or dessert napkin. These Caspari napkins are also classic.

The same cream flatware set I chose for the Thanksgiving / fall plates also goes with the Christmas plates and napkins.

…and the green plastic 16 ounce cups I chose for the Thanksgiving plates also goes well with the Christmas pattern.

If you won’t be using paper dinner napkins, these red damask cloth napkins with a poinsettia red-on-red pattern lend a Christmas-y touch to your dining table.

Whether you skip a tablecloth or use a white or cream solid cloth, this poinsettia table runner brightens up a table with festive colors. You can also use a table runner on a buffet table.

If your home doesn’t go with a red & green theme, this table runner with gold, silver, and white can be a good option.

If you’d like a small number of Christmas-themed serving piece, this holly platter from Lenox is great for either your dinner table or buffet table.

This adorable holly stocking Lenox plate was so cute, I had to include it. Use it to serve cookies all season long, or for appetizers at a party.

These flameless winter scene candles caught my eye, mainly because they can be displayed all winter.

I love boxwood wreaths! This preserved boxwood wreath comes in various sizes and it meant to be indoors. Some reviewers wrote negative reviews but when you read their posts, you’ll see they hung it outside or somewhere where snow or rain could touch it. You can add a bow or ribbon to make it more festive.

I also love red berry wreaths! This one is 22 inches in diameter and is for indoor only. You can hang it in front of a window, over a fireplace, or on a door inside.

Let’s start with some Christmas music! I chose 4 albums; 2 have vocals and 2 are instrumental; 2 are calm and 2 are upbeat.

This new album from Carrie Underwood, “My Gift”, is more on the calm side and is, of course, with vocals.

I like old music and this album, “Headin’ for the Christmas Ball”, has 31 upbeat songs, including both vocals and instrumental, from swing bands and R&B, such as Louis Prima, Benny Goodman, and Ramsey Lewis.

For calm instrumentals, I chose “Christmas Elegance” for some good background music.

For an upbeat instrumental album, I chose “Joyful Jazz! Christmas with Verve!”. If you like jazz, or just want some upbeat background Christmas music, this album should fill the bill.

If you’re looking to add some fun to the holiday season, check out these red and green straws! You get 200 paper straws with this set.

For the private part of your home, check out these sheets which come in various winter prints and colors, and in various sizes.

A set of Christmas hand towels make a nice addition to your powder room or guest bathroom. They also make for a great hostess gift.

Now we get to the pillow covers! Each set I list here is a set of 4 pillow covers that are 18 inches X 18 inches square.

This set has an antique look and will look great in many homes.

This set of pillow covers has a nostalgic theme with a background that is a bit lighter than the first set of covers.

If you want red and green, you’ll get it with this pillow cover set.

The red & black buffalo check plaid is showing up everywhere! Here is a pillow cover set that incorporates the plaid very well.

If you like a tree skirt that doesn’t compete with colors, this white tree skirt is fluffy and has many good reviews.

Zoom in on this red & white tree skirt and you’ll see the white-on-white border and the snowflake and swirl stitching which make this a classic tree skirt.

If you’re looking for a traditional red & green tree skirt, this one is great and has nice detailing.

Want to hear about a great gift?

A wine bottle wrapped in cellophane! I showed how to make it in this video (it’s an old video!).

To make it, you’ll need a roll of 40 inch wide cellophane, which is what is pictured above.

Then see the next photo below….

Next, to make the wine bottle gift, you’ll need some gold metallic shred.

Last, you’ll need some gold curling ribbon.

Make sure to check out the video, though, to see how to make it and the beautiful result. When you give a wine bottle (or olive oil or balsamic vinegar) wrapped this way, whoever you give it to will like it so much, they won’t want to open it for a while!
