Electrolysis for Permanent Hair Removal

Electrolysis for hair removal is very effective for the face. It is more effective than laser for permanent hair removal. I'll show you what happens when I visit my local electrologist and how my skin looks two hours after the treatment.

After cleaning my face with alcohol, the electrologist uses current through a needle to zap each hair individually. That loosens the hair so that it can be easily removed. Over time, it will stop growing back.

When she’s done, she applies a cooling gel to the area. The entire process takes 10 to 15 minutes for me.

Afterward my skin is usually quite red/pink for a few hours, but this picture is about 2 hours later and I’m not too red or pink. By the end of the day the redness is all gone.
