Lipstick Reviews – Lancome, Urban Decay, Color the World, Maybelline
Here are my reviews on a few colors from these brands – Lancome, Urban Decay, Color the World, and Maybelline.
At this point in my life I'm concerned about lip color bleeding into the lip lines, how long the lipstick lasts, how the lipsticks feel on my lips, and if the lipsticks have scents that I can't stand.
Lancome Color Design in Haute Nude #124 is a new favorite. This Lancome brand always wears well and I like this color.
The Urban Decay Vice lipsticks are very creamy and look great. The color “Naked” has a peach hint. “Backtalk” is a pink that isn’t bright and great for every day. “Violate” has a violet (!) hue and is great to wear when your clothes have a purple in it.
Color the World lipsticks claim to not bleed into fine lines. I’ve found that to be true and the colors I’ve purchased have been really nice. Rosé is a nice light peach. Surfberry is a true berry color. Tickled Pink is a bubble gum pink! These all apply creamy.
Maybelline Color Stay 24 Color in “All Night Apricot” #240 is a long wear formula that works pretty well. I like the color a lot. It’s difficult to remove, which is a good thing, and I found I need the next product to remove it at the end of the day.
Maybelline SuperStay Eraser Lip Color Remover is a great product to use to easily remove even the Color Stay lip colors or any lip color that is stubborn.
